I just found out that some people use coconut oil instead for deodorant. It is suppose to protect against odor. I think that is so neat. It smells amazing and when I rub it on it feels like a normal deodorant. Clean, natural and good for your skin.
I have decided to give it a two week try just to see if it works? Feel free to test it out yourself.

Milk - Drop It
Milk. Yes It gives you calcium, but it also takes this calcium away from your body.
Its like getting $1000 but then loosing $999. Cancer are shown to be highest in countries that consume the most dairy. In countries where dairy is not consumed breast cancer is almost nonexistent.
Dairy also help tumors grow. " Hey you.. you guys make tumors in the body right? Im dairy do you need any help building? "
Whole milk has 118 g calcium pr 100g, while almonds have 234. Soybeans 226.
Sesame seeds have 1,160! The last three examples give and does not steal from you after. How great is that ? :) Studies show that people that get calcium from animals suffer from bone loss (Osteoporosis) more then people who get calcium from plant options. Do to the fact that dairy steals.
There is a reason why mothers don't produce milk until their child is 18 years old. Our bodies only need it to grow when we are babies. Milk when we are older is not good for our system.
Dairy is full of fat to make the baby grow.. a grow person does not need all this extra fat.
If you really can't live without milk ; Learn how to make almond milk or if u can't have nuts try rice milk
Also you can find soy cheese at many stores or make cashew cheese urself if you can't live without.

It's a new week and I came across this web page yesterday.

I tried some of the moves for 35 minutes this morning. I got more tired
than I thought I would. My cloths got soaked with sweat which is a good thing !

Stay motivated while working out!
I often find myself not to motivated to exercise. I know that whenever I am out jogging I love it, but getting out the door is the hard part for me.
It is easy to make up excuses; "Im too tired", "I'll do it tomorrow instead" and so on.
What helps me to take the step out the door :
- Turn on your favorite workout song ( That should get you pumped)
- Put on your workout cloth and walk out the door
- Watch workout movies on youtube
- Watch some pictures of celebrities working out (hahah I know it sounds silly, but when I see them working out I feel like I need to work out if I want to look good)
- Tell yourself it will only take 30-60 min and you will feel so great after !
- Motivate yourself with a prize at the end of the week when you have worked out as many times as you planned ( the prize can be as simple as a coffee at starbucks)
- Work out with someone ( this does not help me cause.. when they cancel I end up canceling. I like working out alone and only be dependent on myself)

2 weeks Workout Challenge
The challenge : Jog 4 times a week for two weeks.
Maybe you guys can complete this challenge with me ?
Prize : When you are done and have jogged 4 times a week for two weeks buy yourself a small prize. It can be a new workout top or lipgloss??
The reason for the challenge : Like I said I need a push to get into exercise again. I figure that after two weeks it will have become a habit. The reason for the prize is to motivate myself some extra to complete the two weeks.

Move You Butt NOW (before it's too late)
This morning I went for a jog. I have not jogged outside for months. It felt so great to jog outside to my favorite songs. I felt all the depressed energy get out of me. I felt the sweat going down my face and loved it.
It just felt so amazing !!!
I can not believe what a lazy cow I have been these last months. The jog only took up 35 min of my day and when I got home I was filled with energy. It just feels like an amazing start to my day. A smile has been planted on my face and I feel on top of the world!!!! (weird how great exercise feels).

My tip of the day : Take your shoes for a walk or a slow jog. Get you ass moving, your heart beating faster and your self esteem to the higher level ( I promise you will feel so good about yourself when your done! )

Train of thought
I have learned that having a positive mind is the most important thing in your life. If you are positive and learn to control your mind life is wonderful!!!
((I have not always felt this way to be honest I have let negative thought and sadness take over my life many times before. It never got me anywhere. It always made me more sad, depressed and yeah really taken me into the dark. It is difficult to get out of that state of mind and stop thinking about "sadness". Yeah sometimes I fall down, but now I at least know how to trick my mind to be positive.))
Now instead of letting myself be depressed I fill my mind with all the wonders of the world. I don't let myself be sad. I think about everything Im happy about and what I love. And It does not happen over night but soon all my "not so great thoughts" are replaced with great thought.
Thoughts control man. Your thoughts decide how your life turns out. You want to be in control of life right?? Then be in control of your thoughts.
Don't let people put you down and more important don't put yourself down. In the end you only have yourself and you want to be happy right??? THEN LOVE YOURSELF <3 <3 <3

Terra Firma Makeup
I have never tried the terra firma mineral cosmetics before, but I have read a lot about it online. I decided to try it out, cause I was running out of my bare mineral foundation. I did not want to buy a new in Norway they charge $ 80 which is mad cause I paid $ 25 for it in the US.
So I decided on trying something new and ordered the Beauty Basic On the go kit ( $ 49.99) .
Here is what I got. It all looks so pretty! <3 <3 <3
Here is the foundation. I was a bit sceptic like I always am to new makeup, but with no reason it turns out. It made my skin look fresh like I was not wearing makeup but was born with amazing skin! It lasted all day. My skin did not get oily. It stayed just as perfect as when I put it on.
I have not tried this yet. It's a very light powder and if I did not have any pimples I would just use this one. I am sure it is just as good as the foundation.
I have not tried this one either. I want to use up my Bare mineral mascara before I start using it. It does however smell amazing like one of my favorite ice creams. It reminds me a bit of the 100 % pure mascara which I love but they do not ship to where I live.
This lip color is a very pretty pink. It left my lips looking much fuller then they are. It made them soft and the softness lasted all day but the lip color lasted until I ate. My mouth also smelled of lovely mint. <3
This eyeshadow really made my eyes sparkle. It lasted for hours before streaking, but then I just blended the shadow with my finger and it looked good again. This eyeshadow has turned into my favorite now. It is many times better then the bare mineral one. I also think it is better then the tarte mineral shadow kit.
I love my new makeup <3
And yeah I got a lot of samples. Different creams, facials, blushes, concealer and eyeshadows.
They all look and smell great. One of the creams had such a nice lemon smell I wanted to eat it. It also came with a small brochure about natural skin remedies. How olive oil works for the skin, avocado and so on.
Everything was neatly wrapped like a Birthday present should be. I love this company now <3 <3 <3

Coconut Oil
The smell of Coconut Oil reminds me of Summer. I love it! There are so many benefits in using Coconut Oil. It lowers cholesterol, obesity, heart disease and Alzheimer's disease!
How to use Coconut Oil :
- You can make a super healthy and oh so jummy chocolate fudge out of it. How great is that. Eating chocolate and knowing you are doing your body a favor (and your sweet tooth). Here is the recipe.

- You can use it as a body lotion. It will make you smell good and it moist your skin. Two birds in one.
- You can use it in your hair. Use it in your ends after showering to give you healthy hair, and not dry split ends (don't use to much.. then your hair might look a bit greasy).
- U can use it as a conditioner for your hair. Use it to massage your scalp if you have a dry scalp.
- Some drops of Coconut Oil in your hair color when dying it will protect your hair from the chemicals.
- You can use Coconut Oil instead of butter when you are using your frying pan.
I am sure there is a lot of other things you can use Coconut Oil for, but this is what I use it for.

3 Months Vegan =D
I have made it 3 months. Around 90 Days. I am so proud of myself.
Time has gone very fast. I still get a bit tempted if I see someone drinking a glass of milk or eating a burger next to me.
Burgers used to be one of my favorite food. Cold milk was also my favorite drink. It´s not easy seeing people eating your favorites when you don´t eat that sort of stuff anymore. If I´m hungry I get more tempted though so it`s a good thing to make sure I´m not hungry.
The first week I missed bread and milk the most. The second week I missed milk. The third week I did not really miss anything. It is weird how fast your body gets used to new things. I most say however though a few days ago I got an urge for cheese, but only cause my mum bought it and I started thinking about melted cheese toast. I have been thinking about toast a lot these last few days, so I´m going to be making my kind of toast this week. I just need to wait for the stores to reopen after Easter break.
Tomorrow I will have a huge food shopping day and make a few favorites and try out a few new ones.
My favorite thing about being vegan is that I just feel so great! I can´t really explain it? Maybe it has with being healthy or knowing what I put into my body. I have lots of energy, but I do get cranky if I don´t eat on a regular basis.
Also I love that I can eat so much dessert. In TheKindLife book it is said I can eat dessert 3-4 times a week. There is a lot of fat in dairy food and meat and since I´m not eating it I can afford more dessert =) I make my own desserts though cause you can´t really get vegan desserts in the stores in Norway.
They do however have a super good strawberry and chocolate ice cream.
I am loving the sweet side of life <3 <3 <3
I have also lost 4 kg. Weird since I have done nothing but stuffing my face with food! I know that if I started working out more and maybe drop all the vegan sweets I have been making I could loose more weight and very easy too, but I am happy with my body =)

My new Beauty Routine
Lately I have been thinking about health. Yes I eat healthy, but my beauty routine is all about toxic. I have heard time and time again that the skin is like a big luffa. It sucks all the products you use on it into the body where it does harm. I don’t want that.
Hairspray:
Research has found that a lot of disease can be linked to our beauty products. Take the deodorant for example most contain high doses of aluminum, which is linked to Alzheimer and cancer. Do you really want to rub that under your arms? Don’t you want to use as natural products as possible.
Skincare
Cleanser:
I use honey as a cleanser. I use warm water on my face then rub in a small amount of honey. I massage it in and clear with water.
The honey makes your skin feel soft like a babies skin and it gives you a glow. I use this cleanser morning and night.
Makeup remover:
I have a small bottle where I have mixed olive oil and water. Before I use it I shake the bottle because oil and water don’t mix together without a binder. But when you shake it it “ somewhat” mixes. I use a cotton ball and remove my makeup like I would normally do.
Facial Cream:
I use 100% aloe Vera gel and mix it between my hands with some olive oil. The mixture turns into a kind of light yellow cream. It gives my skin great moisture and it is as natural as you can get it.
Hair
Shampoo: This is a two-step shampoo routine.
1. Mix warm water and some baking soda. Pour into a bottle.
2. Mix water and apple vinegar into a bottle.
My hair turned perfectly clean and it does not have the smell of vinegar. It smells nice I don’t know how, but it does. My hair also has more natural volume, which I like. The hair stays cleaned 2-3 days. I usually wash it again the second day.
I wash it at night and use this video, so I can wake up to perfect curls. Or you can braid your hair and you will have curls when you wake up.
Conditioner: Can be used one time a week or 1 time every 2nd week. It depends on how dry your hair is.
Direction:
Half an avocado, 1tsp olive oil and 1 tsp honey. Mix it together with a fork.
Leave in for 10-20 min. This will make your hair super smooth!
Beach style: 2 cups water, Add 1 tsp sea salt and 1sp olive oil. Mix over low heat. Add to an empty spray bottle. Experiment with how much salt and oil you use, it all depends on your hair type.
Hairspray for hold: Mix 2 cups water and 1tsp (pr. Cup) of lemon juice. Your curls will stay put and your hair will smell good and feel soft.
Here you also need to experiment with the amount of lemon. Every hair is different.
Body
Shower gel: I use a 100% olive oil soap. It gives me clean and smooth skin.
I also rub a thicker amount of this soap when I’m shaving my legs.
Body Lotion: Here is one you can make yourself ( I found it on youtube…hahah I love youtube)
My skin gets really smooth by the olive oil soap so I don’t really need cream, but if you have dry skin try this one.
Deodorant:
I use baking soda right now. It works great for the smell. It will not stop you from sweating but the toxic needs to come out some place.. You rather it came out in your face??
Directions: Wet a cotton ball add some baking soda, blend the mixture with your fingers and rub the cotton under your arm.
The baking soda will not add any marks to your cloths. This was a big problem for me before
If you don’t like the idea of baking soda try: Pit Putty 100% Organic Deodorant. I have read a lot of good stuff about this deo. I have never tried it. I would if they shipped international.
If you live in Europe and cannot get your hands on this stuff try: Crystal Deodorant spray. It will not keep you from sweating, but you will smell good.
Just wash your armpits with a cloth of warm water and some soap at night or during the day if you feel you smell.
Makeup
There are so many natural brands out there now and it’s hard to choose.
I have previously used bare minerals, but now im trying out something new.
Foundation:
Jane Iredale ( a bit pricy but very good )
Lauren Brooks cosmetics mineral foundation
Terra Firma Mineral foundation ( What I use now.. the cheapest and just as good as the other two.)
Blush:
I like tarte cheek stain a lot
I also like 100% pure’s products ( to bad they don’t ship international)

Mascara:
I love the 100% pure mascara it smells like berries!
Lips:
For now I use Vaseline, but I will try out Earth Beauty lipsticks. They are natural, have good colors and I like that they are so small. I have never managed to use up a lipstick, maybe with this one I can?
Eyes: Don’t really use anything else then mascara. Sometimes I use Vaseline cause it makes my lashes look like they have mascara on and it does not dry my lashes out.
I do like the Bare mineral eye shadows though and I’m going to try out Real Purity’s eye shadows.
Okay so this is just how I do it. I have only used this routine for 2 weeks now, but I will let you know how it goes. I also hope you feel inspired to shake up your beauty routine too.

Jewelry
As I posted earlier I have cleaned out my closet. I thought I might as well do the same with my jewelry or at least organize it.
All the cheap hm jewelry that has turned black or that I don’t use anymore I threw out or gave away.
I used kneaded eraser to make the thick paper stick to the bottom of the container, so it will not fall when I stack on my jewelry. To make 3 sections in one container you need to make to Vs.
I used one container for earrings, one for necklaces and one for rings, bracelets and hairpins.
I am very happy with the result. It looks tidy and kind of cute.
Before it was all a mess and I did not wear it, cause it was all tangled together and in one box with a lid. I never really knew what I had. Now I’m definitely going to be wearing them.

Minimum Wardrobe
I have been doing some research on downsizing your wardrobe and what you truly need. The reason is; my closet is full of cloths and I don’t know what I have buried in the back of it. I figure since I only use the cloths in the front I don’t need all the other cloths that are stuffed in there and never get to see daylight.
Here are my 25 of the cloths in my closet. I would add two jackets to this list. One winter coat, and one lighter jacket for spring. I would also have 3 extra pieces, maybe one more dress if you’re a dress person or more jeans? That just depends on what cloths you are the most comfy in.

Having less cloths lets you be more creative since you have less to create from if that makes any sense?
It also means less of a mess in your closet, knowing what you own and money saved in the longer term. If you buy something new it means you have to let something in your wardrobe go and that may make you think twice about buying cloths.
Here I have used 1 shorts and changed it up with different shoes, tops, scarfs, belts and stockings.
As you can see changing up your outfit is pretty easy so in the end you do not need all the cloths weighing down your closet :p

Books to get when you want a better relationship
About a year ago I was dumped. I'm sure I'm not the first one, but it felt horrible. Now a year after I think of it different. It was a year of learning about myself, and how to make myself strong again when I felt so alone and powerless. I was deep depressed and had not so good thoughts about me and a window.
Now though a year after I feel happy being by myself. I feel stronger.I even started taking pole dance classes, going to the gym and now I'm starting to get control over my eating.
But back to the books.
I think every girl should have there two books :
- It's called a breakup because it's broken
- He is just not that into you
It's called a breakup because it's broken helped me see that even though I was dumped this was also the chance for me to invent myself, start over and discover new things about myself. What person do I want to be? What makes me happy? What do I want to learn? What are my dreams and wishes?
The book also explains that if you start knowing what you want you will get it.
He is just not into you is a book by the same authors : Greg Behrendt and Amira Routola-Behrendt.
The first book is about getting over someone and becoming a better you, while he is not that into you is more signs to tell if a person want a relationship with you. Different women has written questions about their relationship. The authors are honest and have written funny letters in return.
This book is eye opening to the many things women accept, because they want a boyfriend. They are scared of being alone.
After dating a guy for a year and talking about moving in together I became dependent on him. Right when that happened he broke up with me. I was crying for weeks. Think what did I do wrong? Truth is I lost myself in the relationship. I was not doing stuff on my own anymore and became a
a shadow of him.
Now a year later I feel better then ever!
I have not had a boyfriend in between because I figured that will not help me. It will only give me a chance to hide behind a new guy and not focus on me. .
I gave myself this year as a gift to myself focusing on "what makes me happy?" and trying to figure that out. "What do I believe in?"
I used to know myself pretty well before, but somehow I lost it. This time though I have a strong foundation because I had to deal with loneliness on my own and grow strong from it.
